The casing of the LEDental PowerLight lite 550 is slightly larger. The design allows the LED circuit board to be better cooled and the LED to be operated at a higher current. This increases the brightness by around 45%.
Otherwise, the lamp is identical to the PowerLight lite. The PowerLight lite 550 also has a bright, focussed centre of light that fades gently. It can therefore be used without magnifying glasses, without the eyes being exposed to strong differences in brightness and thus quickly tiring.
The weight varies between 18g and 28g depending on the mounting clip. The joint allows the light to be optimally adjusted.
This clip fits the 2.5x and 3.5x optics.
